Tim Farmer

I live in Bolnore Village, Haywards Heath with my wife and two daughters. I have always had a great interest in politics but by helping establish Bolnore Village Primary School I have truly realised what is achievable at the local level and that has spurred me on to get involved in local Government.

I am a great believer in the ‘Big Society’ and believe people can make a real difference to their communities by just putting a little effort into helping out around where they live. So I hope by representing Lucastes & Bolnore I can make a difference.

By profession I am an airline Pilot flying European & African routes from London Gatwick. After nearly 20 years of commercial flying I have seen a lot of different cultures and Countries but I am always happy to return to Mid Sussex which in my view offers a superior quality of family life. I am committed to ensuring Mid Sussex continues to be a happy, rewarding and thriving area and will do my upmost over the next 4 (hopefully more) years to ensure we are proud to live in Haywards Heath.
